1. The Short Version

The ScanBeat app has no account, no sign-up, and collects no personal data. Your training data stays on your device. The only data practices we have are the analytics on this website, described below.

2. The ScanBeat App

When you use the ScanBeat app on iPhone and Apple Watch:

• No account, no sign-up: You never create an account or give us an email address. We collect no personal data through the app.
• Training data stays on your device: Sessions, progress, achievements, and settings are stored locally on your iPhone (and the paired Apple Watch) and never leave it.
• No health data: The app does not collect health or sensor data. The Apple Watch is used only to deliver haptic cues.
• No ads, no tracking, no social features: The app contains none of these.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Subscriptions are purchased and billed through Apple. We never see your payment details — Apple handles the entire transaction, and Apple's privacy policy governs it.

4. App Content

The app fetches content such as articles and scanning patterns from our content server. These requests contain no personal identifiers.

5. The Website (scanbe.at)

This website uses two analytics tools to understand aggregate traffic — which pages are visited and roughly how many people visit them:

• Vercel Analytics: Privacy-friendly and cookieless. It does not track you across sites or store identifiers in your browser.
• Google Analytics: Sets cookies in your browser, and therefore only runs if you accept it via the cookie banner. If you decline — or simply ignore the banner — Google Analytics never loads. We use the data only to understand how the site is used, and you can change your choice at any time.

6. Changes

If we change how the app or website handles data, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
